1. About these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Avocado Kiss website (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. What Avocado Kiss is

Avocado Kiss is a culinary magazine: seasonal recipes, chef stories and a Curated Shop of kitchen products we’d actually use. We do not sell products, process payments or fulfil orders. Every Curated Shop listing links to a third-party retailer, and any purchase you make happens on that retailer’s website under its own terms, prices and policies.

3. Referral disclosure

Curated Shop links on the Site are referral/affiliate links: if you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not influence which products we feature — we only list products our editors would use in the test kitchen.

4. Recipes, prices and product information

Recipes, cooking times and nutritional mentions on the Site are provided for information only; results may vary by kitchen, oven and ingredients. Prices, availability, images and descriptions shown for Curated Shop products may be outdated — the price and availability displayed on the retailer’s website at the time of purchase are the only ones that apply. Always verify product details on the retailer’s page before buying.

5. Newsletter and recipe ratings

Subscribing to our newsletter is optional and can be cancelled at any time. Rating a recipe uses a background bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile) and a random browser identifier to prevent duplicate votes — see our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, text, photography, logo and curation are owned by Avocado Kiss or used under license. Product names, images and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute the Site’s content for commercial purposes without permission.

7. Third-party websites

The Site links to websites we do not control, including Curated Shop retailers. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices. Following a link to a retailer means their terms and privacy policy apply to you.

8. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Site in a way that breaks applicable laws.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure.
• Do not scrape, harvest or bulk-copy the Site’s content without our written consent.
• Do not submit false or automated recipe ratings.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avocado Kiss shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, from a recipe you cook following our instructions, or from any purchase made on a third-party retailer’s website. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its “last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
